Wilkins Project
The Wilkins school has many issues that need to be addressed. While I support working on, replacing, or updating Wilkins I do have concerns. My primary concern with the years of new school building proposals is that they are too large and not the most fiscally responsible option for our town’s current and projected needs, especially given the declining student population.
Budget Management
My approach to budget management prioritizes both cost reduction strategies and initiatives that enhance our school’s ranking and reputation. I believe that by optimizing resource allocation, exploring time and energy-efficient solutions, and fostering community partnerships, we can reduce costs while simultaneously improving the educational experience for our students.
Data Driven Decision Making
I am committed to making data-driven decisions that ensure fiscal responsibility and maximize educational outcomes, and I believe the school board needs to expand its data sources beyond those currently being used to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the issues.
